Virginia Military Institute (VMI) is a small, public, nationally-ranked college in Lexington, Virginia, committed to leadership development. VMI offers programs in engineering, liberal arts and the sciences.

JJS Design was selected to design the covers of the annual Undergraduate Research Review. Given the academic nature, classroom and campus photography were featured along with two-color icons/illustrations. A strong grid and clean design was used to reflect the structure and discipline revered at VMI.

The design was well received and helped attract much welcomed attention to the undergraduate review process.
