HealthGrades is an online company with the mission of connecting people to healthcare professionals and health facilities. Users of the HealthGrades website and applications can research doctors, surgeons, clinics and hospitals and schedule appointments online.

Being a front runner in the health care industry, HealthGrades was in need of a new logo that communicated its authority while also being approachable. To accomplish this goal, JJS Design (working with HeathGrades) conducted extensive research in the healthcare industry and its clientele. The proposed concept utilizes an "H" that mimics a DNA double helix and represents science and people at the same time. The icon can also be seen as a hospital sign and a bandage.

The final concept is a memorable and effective logo that succeeds in making HealthGrades stand out in the often cluttered and competitive online world.
